I noted to the GA that they really should update the board, his response was "We don't do that here (at the gate)" I'm not sure how many may have missed the flight due to the lack of concern of the MIA staff, but they really need some attention there!
Too bad I never did get around to reporting it - maybe AA would take note if they get enough complaints.</font>
AA couldn't keep count of them re: MIA. They know the airport is a mess, but the S.A. routes make money. They know many of the people they have hired are "less-than-desirable" but they hired them way back when Eastern went under.
It's one thing to cater to pax from Latin America...good business to hire people that speak Spanish, etc., but not to model the behaviors and practices such as Managua!
