This was pretty poor on the GA's part. They could have at least notified you when the flight left BOS and it's expected arrival time. That would have given you time to go get something decent to eat outside of the airport.

As a plat, your email will probably receive (in my experience) a quick response and perhaps some miles for the trouble.

The big deal in this case is no communication to the pax....unacceptable.
