Sometimes it is. But generally, it is not.
So, you seem to have booked your flight via a travel agent (Exedia etc). Expedia does not add a passengers's e-mail to the booking file. Hence you cannot see that on Virtuallythere. Note that you cannot use airline confirmation number to view the booking on Virtuallythere unless you booked directly with SU.
To get the Expedia booking ID - just request an itinerary in TEXT form from your webpage in Expedia. For other agents just try to get their OWN confirmation number (recloc).
And of course you can see the reservation in SU office, or get a confirmation of a reservation by phone. Unfrtunately then cannot e-mail an agent-made reservation to you. ASK you GREAT agent
