On board AC duty free is a rip off. The airports can be good deals but it really depends on which ones you're going to, and also the current exchange rate. Plus, depends on which province you're in, with BC and Ontario being expensive those of us in those provinces would find some duty frees "cheap" whereas those in Alberta would have lower prices at home to compare against.
