EWR-CPH Y to C Jan 2010 as EBS at check-in.

EBG op-ups:

CPH-EWR Y to C w/Mrs. July 2010 - upgraded in CPH lounge during transfer. Asked to use miles, there was no availability due to full flight. Flight delayed 5 hours, about 2 hours into the delay got paged in the lounge, was handed two new C boarding passes and was told not to worry about using the miles, its complimentary.

ORD-CPH Y to C w/Mrs. July 2010 - upgraded at check-in. There was a note in the PNR that said "please upgrade to C-class." Flight was full.

Optiontown has also been successful the times I have used it. No recognition or perks (other than at check in and use of lounges) when flying with UA.
