I can't think of any either. I figure I can plan in advance and load any books prior to a trip or likely I will have a laptop anyway and can transfer to the wifi Kindle via USB.

ETA: I guess a problem could be if one subscribes to periodicals and can't retrieve the latest edition if no wifi available.
