Since the OP will be checking in for the BF flight they get that allowance. If the trip was BOS-EWR//2 days//EWR-LHR then the BOS-EWR would only get domestic F allowances even though there is a BF segment in the itinerary. One must be checking in for the segment that grants the status, not just have it on the same itinerary.
Thanks -- to clarify, since I'll be checking in my bags through to London at Boston on the same day, collecting the BF boarding pass at BOS, and will only have a 6 hr layover, doesn't that count as "checking in" for the EWR-LHR segment and thus give the BF allowance even at BOS?
