While an interesting idea for sure, I'm not sure if this would logistically work.

CUN has a separate terminal for all U.S.-based airlines, with flights bound for the U.S. departing from Terminal 3, including F9.

Mexicana, and Aeromexico operate all of their inter-Mexico/South American flights, as well as their own international flights out of Terminal 2.

There is no sterile area between Terminal 2 and 3.

The only way it would work is if the Mexican government would allow F9 to operate out of T-2 and be the only U.S. carrier to do so.
