Explanation of Moderator actions?
I've noticed Mods yank posts quite a bit without any explanation. Recently, one of my posts was pulled at the AC forums because I suspect I had posted the publicly published number for AC reservations, while the Moderator thought it was an unpublished Elite number.
It would be nice if the Mods actually PM the poster and let them know why they are yanking a post so the poster has a chance, even post action, to figure out why the post was pulled. My post did not violate ANY of FT's TOS, yet it was decided arbitrarily to be yanked without ever leaving me at least a PM to explain.
The benefit is this way the poster would KNOW what part of TOS he/she has violated. As it stands, the mod yanks the post without ever explaining anything. I have to say although I understand moderators are volunteers and do us all a favour by donating their time, this would reduce their workload in the long run by hopefully preventing the same mistake from happening.
