Interesting thought on MEX. The fares on the DEN-MEX route show it certainly could be profitable.

My gut reaction thinks feed from DEN may be pretty tough as we already have Mexicana direct, and 1-stop connections through PHX on US, LAX on UA, and SLC on DL. But, a properly timed 1-stop connection in MCI could be as convenient as the current US and DL connections.
