Regarding the baggage: Since you have a BF segment in your itinerary, you get that allowance.

Regarding the 6 hr layover: The President's Club is a nice place for a while (maybe 3 hours max? unless you like the liquor ) where you can watch TV, get online, get liquored up, etc. There are also shower facilities in the one club if you'd like to get cleaned up.
