I submitted a status match yesterday to DL via fax requesting Plat Medallion for my current CO Plat status...sent a letter saying that I was formerly Gold Elite on NWA, but switched to CO when I moved to the DC area (also a copy of my plat card and a recent statement). In my request, I noted that I was concerned with the CO/UA merger and would like to return to Sky Team...not exactly true, but I'm hoping this works as I have to travel on some DL TPACs in Y later this year...will stick with *Alliance for the long-term. Am a little worried though as I only have 16k EQM this year on CO...I'll still hit plat with end of year travel, but am wondering how this will influence DL's decision.

Anyone else tried this approach? If so, what was the lag between the request and when you heard back?
