Has anyone ridden the shuttle to either hotel and not stayed at the hotel? I've always read about the Parking Spot (Sepulveda) shuttle up to the In-N-Out near LAX, but i've always done that walk before.

Thanks again for the tips - I'll avoid the walk for sure, but hopefully can catch one of these shuttles

Tip your shuttle driver a couple $ if you feel guilty but this is a scheduled shuttle and it will make circles with or without you. Who knows maybe you'll even stay at one of those hotels in the future after seeing them on this trip.
I occasionally go to Marriott during long connections.
