If he thinks that the public are going to stomach another 12 days of strikes, despite the fact that BA can run a 100% schedule, then he is sorely mistaken. There may be some lingering public support for the strikers but this is going to go if they do another 12 days, especially over what remains of the summer, even if the dispute doesn't reach or, it doesn't happen over Christmas.
I hold no brief for BASSA or this strike but what has public support got to do with whether or not their actions will be successful?
