I'll be around Asia end of this year for vacation, checking out places and want to do SIN-KUL-BKK-RGN-SIN. Apart from SIN-KUL leg (which is on SQ A333), every other leg is on Thai with aircrafts listed on the title. Do you guys think that the itinerary is worth spending 30,000 UA miles for J class award or shall I just use cash (around $2000) to buy it?

Please post what you would do if you were in my shoes I'm just looking for good use of miles for the trip. If planes that I will be flying is old, I don't mind sitting in economy. Thanks.
