You've gotten some excellent advice here- hope one of the the solutions works for you.
Of course it's not listed, BART did not want them there .

I wouldn't walk this part either, the road is really not suitable for walking. I remember we had the exact topic a few years back and I made it a point to check out this road (while driving). You CAN walk on it, but it would not feel comfortable and could be dangerous to your health .

I would try to find a hotel nearby that has a shuttle.
