On the contrary, it sounds like yet another similarity with the present BA situation to add to my earlier list then? Intially a majority of hardline support with a minority not backing a strike. Slowly but surely, as the hardline majority realise the employer isn't going to back down and they realise they are losing more and more take home pay, the strike crumbles.
Just like in 1984 then - with the Notts miners being the early minority and the Yorkshire / South Wales contingent the hardline majority
