I too have had difficulty when booking a breakfast included rate. The last time at Marriott Biscayne Bay, they actually "walked" me to the front desk to clarify all during breakfast?!?!?! I spent a good 20 minutes going over my reservation with the Front Desk Rep and showed them my reservation on my blackberry. The waitress then escorted me back to my table. It was quite humiliating! The front desk representative asked me to bring down my printed reservation after breakfast, which I did, but needless to say, we did not have breakfast the next morning simply to avoid the hassle even though Breakfast included was clearly in my reservation.
