The explanation came back that all their corporate rates include breakfast and they reduce the roomrate by the cost of breakfast and charge sales tax on the breakfast portion and room tax on the remainder. Sounds way more complicated than it needs to be. And I'm not sure all the numbers add up. Now I do know you can file your sales tax based upon amount collected or as a percentage of gross sales. So if they don't breakout the breakfast portion, there's no tax due since there was no revenue earned.
