Most of the vacation club 1 bedrooms are more like studios with a wooden partition door that can be closed between the living room (with sleeper sofa) & bedroom. But you would still have to share a bathroom accessed through the bedroom. There are some townhouses but most of the 1 bedrooms are on 1 floor. They all have kitchens and you don't get the diamond breakfast when staying in these units. Four adults in the 1 bedroom vacation club units would be a little crowded and there would not be much privacy. There are a range of different views and you'd likely end up with a garden view unit as the best views are given to the owners. Here is a resort layout map with a description of the unit layout:

So, I called the vacation club 1-800-go-hyatt but I was told that I can't make reservation for the vacation club using my points. However, hyatt.com shows that I can redeem my points at any hyatt vacation club, for example a free night two bedroom will be 23,000 points. And they told me to call my diamond line to make a reservation, which I did and now they are telling me to call vacation club.????
What should I do?
did anyone had problem making a reservation at vacation club?
this is getting very tricky...
