Yeah, I've been burned on a couple of occasions arriving just past the T-60 cutoff. It's wound up costing me the change fee to go on the next flight and nervous moments watching the upgrade queue after losing my confirmed seat.
The baggage cut off time used to be T-45, actually. And once, with terrible traffic on the M4, we got there at T-44 and almost had to pay a change fee. Luckily, something happened at checkin (this was back in the days of the Park Avenue shack that used to be across the road) that made them give us a free change to the next flight. But I wouldn't get there so late again...
