I am booked for ZRH - ORD with LX 8 on August12th with the A340 and on the way back on August 20th with LX 9 it was also the A340 initially. Now we had an AC change to the new A330-300. As i noticed i called LX Senator Service as i was booked normally on 4D on the return, Due to the new C layout i called up and was looking for a single seat either side.
The online seat reservation showed no more available but LX service said you can have 4 or 12 A so i went for 4A which was confirmed by voice from the agent. That was a couple of days back and in all my reservations it still says iīm booked on 4 D , so called up LX service again and asked for confirmation.
Again they said, no Sir, in our system you are on 4A. Unfortunately the Swiss confirmation mail does not included seat numbers. And on the travel agent i booked as well from my bookings on LH / M&M i am still on 4D
Any explanation for this gimmick ? Hope they donīt switch back again.
