I called diamond line, and it is available for labor day weekend, but I need to have at least one bedroom, because there will be 4 adults in the room. I have stayed regular king room, one bedroom, and townhouse. I prefer townhouse, but one bedroom will also be fine. I know that they are very generous to diamond member, and tends to give upgrade room, but at the same time nothing is confirm. It is subject to availability, and considering it's labor day weekend, chances are very low.
So I checked the vacation club, and their 2 bedroom is not available, but one bedroom is available. My question is what is the difference between regular highlands inn, and vacation club?
Does vacation club has same room layout as highlands inn?
I heard some of vacation club room has block view, and diamond breakfast is not available when I book through vacation club.
Does anyone stay at their vacation club can tell me the difference ?
thanks
Most of the vacation club 1 bedrooms are more like studios with a wooden partition door that can be closed between the living room (with sleeper sofa) & bedroom. But you would still have to share a bathroom accessed through the bedroom. There are some townhouses but most of the 1 bedrooms are on 1 floor. They all have kitchens and you don't get the diamond breakfast when staying in these units. Four adults in the 1 bedroom vacation club units would be a little crowded and there would not be much privacy. There are a range of different views and you'd likely end up with a garden view unit as the best views are given to the owners. Here is a resort layout map with a description of the unit layout:
