I have only been disappointed with a priceline/hotwire hotel once in all the years I have used them... and probably over 200 room nights. In that case, Priceline actually refunded my money.

I do not use Priceline/Hotwire for flights... as I want my miles and status...

If you do a bit of research, you will rarely get disappointed... and honestly, with the money you save... that can be benefit enough!
