Star award pricing, routing, and diff to M&M

I plan to visit Oz sometime and go there on a Star award ticket. Yesterday I called Eurobonus to check on price and routings.

The route was:
ARN - BKK - SYD - PVG - PEK - ARN, and the cost was 190k points in Y, but she could not tell me why it ended up being 190k.
If I would have booked ARN - BKK - SYD - BKK - ARN then the cost would have been 120k points.

Does the extra 70k come from the leg SYD - PVG, or from PEK - ARN, or... ?

Furthermore she told me that I could not make any stopovers! Is this correct? All transfers (maximum four per direction) have to be less than 24 hours.

I asked her what a three zone award cost. She did not know what that was! Does SK not have three zone Star awards?

When I have read about this topic in the M&M forum I think they are allowed to do at least one stopover in each direction during a Star award trip. Also, M&M have cheaper Star award tickets than SK!

(Note! When I do the actual trip I will book C, but the above is just to get an understanding of the pricing.)
