I'm going to take your bait and educate yoshida_101. Excerpt from the T&Cs for the SPG program.

2.4. You cannot have more than one Membership. If you attempt to obtain more than one Membership, we may terminate your Membership and all enrollment bonus(es) and Starpoints may be forfeited.

3.4. If we revoke your Membership, for any reason, you may not reapply for Membership and any account opened in your name and Starpoints earned in that account shall be forfeited upon discovery.
