Christopher Eccleston a few years ago (when he was still Dr Who, or shortly after he left). He was in first class, we were standing in the vestibule because the train was so full, so when he came out to use the toilet we all spotted him.

He was on his way to Stratford to see some friends in a play there, and as we all piled off the train at New Street a very, very overly starstruck man was insisting he'd walk him to Snow Hill - Mr Eccleston politely declined.

The actor who played Jon-Paul in Hollyoaks was on a very busy Derby-Crewe train I was on. Poor chap had to stand in the middle of the carriage surrounded by teenage girls who kept shouting to him. He looked mortified!
