I had flights out of JFK at 6pm, on the Saturdays before and after Christmas, from different terminals. The terminal 8 line had to be at least an hour long the first Saturday, and I was very glad to see the elite line up and running. Over at terminal 9, a week later, there was a minimal line and maybe a 5 minute savings by using the elite line. The line at terminal 8 had to be the longest I've ever seen.
