do does that mean I both need to buy my ticket in the next year (which is reasonable) AND have the ticket be used within the next year (which seems a bit weirder)
You are lucky to get E-cert cause by weather related, usually UA will not give out any.
Like other was saying that is normal good for one year from yesterday.
