They're fine if you're willing to spoon-feed them everything point-by-point, correct their obvious geographic and space-time continuum problems or are looking to manipulate the system. Being empowered doesn't mean being good. There is a difference between simply doing whatever the customer wants and doing the right thing.

Something that UA apparently was no in compliance with in this scenario. Everyone screws up from time to time. I'm not entirely convinced that the numbers are as skewed as you seem to lead with in most cases.
