Some of the personal room photos of The Carlyle on Tripadvisor are pretty appaling! But the rooms on the Oyster site look terrific. I'm still torn as to what to do! I'm starting to warm to the Surrey a bit more... though I think their lounge and graffiti art in the public spaces are a bit tacky. I'm really worried about the rooms at the Carlyle and whether the pictures on Tripadvisor are really comparable to those on the website and others liek Oyster.
