I wasn't aware, but think it's a horrible precedent to have set. I see no reason to commission people who are not actually actively selling products. Last I checked, while there was an announcement of DFA items available, the FAs weren't coming around and pitching their favorite items (which would be horribly obnoxious).

I'm patently against the FA union inserting itself and doing something that will drive the end cost up for me. If AA has to pay them a commission, they'll pass that cost on to me. I'd rather keep the money.
