We (mom, sis and I) flew a TATL every 2 years from 1965-1978, originating in CAE. We would have to go through JFK, and then DL started doing ATL-FRA! And later Piedmont(?) started CLT-FRA!

I seem to remember a LH flight with IFE, a movie projector shooting the movie onto a screen. IIRC the headsets were essentially hollow tubes that plugged into the arm rest, not electronic ones like we have today.

I remember flying DL, LH, Pan Am and Icelandic across the pond.

Connections included National, Eastern, Piedmont, Delta, TWA.
