I have travelled on SIN-HKG on SQ and then transfer to CX to TPE. I have managed to get my luggage tagged in SIN all the way to TPE. At the transfer desk in HKG, just to make sure, I gave them my luggage tag to ensure that it has been properly transferred to CX flight.
