They switched to blue cards last november, which is my renewal month. It has been incredibly annoying, because this last winter/spring I was apparently a trailblazer for a lot of partner lounges. "Alaska lounge cards are gold, why is this blue?" "don't ask me, ask alaska."
If you look at the old BR card next to an MVPG card, you'll see that it's a darker shade...more like bronze. I assume they changed in order to reduce confusion with the MVPG cards. Mine expires in Oct, so I must have one of the last ones.
