Why didn't you just go back outside and check bags curbside?
I did that last week at SFO. Waited 5 minutes 10 deep in the non-moving F line before I went out to curbside. I was in the AC 5 minutes later, at least 20 minutes before the couple in front of me in the F line arrived.
Thought of that, but since this was a computer issue and tags were already printed, not sure it would have worked.
