There were (and may still exist) plans to extend B22 to have even more planes, and that, IMHO is a terrible place with over crowding and chaos, as that is the only direction that one could grow at without a new building.
I couldn't agree more, It's total chaos down there during IROPS...with very few, if any, employees handling the situation.
I'm not saying I like "outside operation" either, but they have existed continuously from the Wright brothers, up until today, and even the POTUS doesn't use a jetbridge, so don't feel that UA is doing it just to piss you off.
Had to LOL at this one....I guess UA really is in the dark ages but unlike POTUS we still don't get an umbrella
BTW...I'm surprised that there isn't a new Terminal going up to house the *A complete with Immigration. It's a drag hoofing it from the International Terminal to connect to another flight.
