vicarious...now you're just being silly. Any reason to condemn those who chose to travel this way, but your excuses are running thin. Tall people needing the extra legroom? What happens if there are too many tall people on a plane? Whatever shall we do?! How many bulkhead seats are on a plane of this size anyway? 8? 16 maybe? out of 300 seats odds are that there are too many tall people to fight over theses seats. I guess they'll have to sit in the assigned seat they pay for. Which is really all we want to do. Originally I was curious if there was a good chance of an empty seat. I never intended to DEMAND one. Now we are making an informed decision to fly without purchasing a seat for our daughter, mostly because there will be 2 of us to care for her and knowing that even if we pay for the seat she probably won't use it anyway. I can not see for the life of me why this offends you so. Clearly you can't either because your reasoning is absurd!
Besides, why souldn't we be entitled to a seat with a little more room since we are paying MORE for it than the greedy tall person is? I don't know that we will take these seats if they are offered to us anyway. I don't think it will work for us to not remove the armrest in between the seats.
What about people who do pay the extra money for a seat (thats not required) but end up holding their kid in their lap anyway? Which would be us- she doesn't let me do anything anymore, wants to be in my lap all the time. Are those people selfish too?
To be fair, the odds are good that my "little angel" is going to be an inconvenience to everyone on board regardless. For example, it's so charming when she practices "singing" (shrieking) and we're so proud of how she knows her favorite words (NO! and GIMME!) in 3 languages already! We have so much fun playing HI 5 over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over ... Did I mention how much she loves buckles? All manner of belts clips, snaps, buckles, ties, she undoes them constantly. Kind of why a car seat is pointless.
My daughter is a pain... by Bluff9839
Baby Vi is a pain in a plane or in a car,
buckled in a seat near of far.
She is difficult running wild and free
or sitting perched on bended knee.
She wants it her way and she wants it now,
she does not care if you don't know how.
Tell her what to do
and she'll throw a fit!
... then be sure to do the opposite.
She's almost 2. What did you expect?
For what its worth, I would never tell someone else they couldn't recline their seat. I might be "poor", but I'm not a B...
