I randomly picked eligible dates in October and got $253 going and $254 coming back for Oct. 11/18, plus taxes and fees for a total of $939.40. I am not sure what T & C's your e-mail stated, but booking from the flight offers page on AC.com made it pretty easy to find the cheap seats.
