Hmm, my corp rate includes breakfast and I've never been charged anything for it (other than any tip I may leave to be charged to the room).

I wonder if they billed you for breakfast, then removed the charge (like the do with internet at FS props), but the tax didn't remove? Only way to find out is to ask a manager at it.
