Your new status should show up online as soon as your miles post and you cross the 25k threshold. You'll definitely have 2P benefits on your TATL flight (though the unlimited upgrade program is only for domestic flights..not TATL).

After you become 2P be sure to check your itineraries to see if you've been put on the upgrade list for your domestic segments at least..and if you haven't call reservations and have them add you to the pending upgrade list.
