After my PDX to MSY roundtrip this month, I'll have enough EQM to be a 2P member. Does that take effect as soon as you cross over the 25k EQM, or does it take a while to kick in?

I ask because I've got a a transatlantic trip a week and a half after, and would like to be a premier member beforehand (in case some upgrades are available).
