Sorry for the ill formed sentence. I meant that When I called US airways, they told me the same, " 215$ trial promo for silver" but I informed her about the ongoing free silver trial promotion.


So planned a long weekend trip which covers 4 conditions east,west,shuttle,new route. But since I have already purchased non refundable tickets for trip so I am silver now on basis of free trial . But looking forward after my trip should be able to retain it because of h/s/j.

PS: I wanted to take advantage to gift promo going on as well as wanting to retain silver status for long. So I killed two birds with one stone.
