I was planning on taking a day flight from JFK and not a night flight, because we're planning on doing a stopover in London (btw, how long is a stopover allowed to be? I can look this up elsewhere if nobody wants to give me the easy answer

).
I understand that several of you are saying to fly F because it's "special"... but what exactly is "special" about it? I understand that some things just can't be explained and it's the whole experience of it... I get that. But, what CAN be qantified as the differences between the two? Either lounges or in-flight. What is better about the Concorde lounge than the other lounges? Better food? Better alcohol? It's all free, right? So what makes it so much different?
Edit: Because of the stopover and day flight thing, I'm not too concerned about the quality of sleep that I'll get while on the flight. I don't anticipate sleeping since it's only an 8hr flight or so.
