When you're referring to sheets taken away.. are you referring to the pull out sofa bed sheets.. as a result you needed to request the bed to be made up.. and each time took half an hour?
Sounds like you have more options with the Amex Plat program. Us traditional qualifiers are pretty much most of the time with Fairmont. I would e-mail the GM back and say that you would have came back in Sept, but because of the inconsistencies and other hotel deals, you decided to opt for their neighbors Banyan Tree.. May as well be honest, and tell them where the business is going.
Good idea about letting the GM know. As far as the sheets, yes, after the first night they were removed from the sofa bed so I had to request sheets the next night. Thankfully the last night the sheets were there when I opened up the bed.
