Actually I haven't experienced the weather you describe. It was about 30, but humidity was very high. The forecast highs for the next 4 days are 30, 31, 29 and 28. A temp of 35 is not typical. I found the food to be excellent. Beaches were not crowded. In fact, they were almost deserted. Tacky? Yes, definitely, but I avoided the Cancun strip.

I'd take the Cancun conditions over the seemingly perpetual bad weather in Toronto. Every time I come here it's cool, overcast and raining combined with choking dust and pollution.
