Thanks - this is pretty much what I thought (that our itinerary was too simple for the various passes etc to be worth the money), but I wasn't sure if I was missing something.

I'd love to do the Glacier Express and the like -- but that will have to wait for another trip, when the kids are older and can sit still for longer!
