AA.com should eliminate the hold feature. Make customers buy the ticket. Give a 24 hour refund. Solve the problem like every other US airline.
I'll have to disagree there. I like the convenience of holding a ticket and wouldn't want to see it go away because a few people tried to abuse the system.
Besides, someone could still try the same thing with refundable tickets. Doesn't really solve the problem, does it?
