yes, all Eagle flights do gate-valet checking, even if you're at a jetbridge-only airport like ORD or LAX.

and do be careful when choosing seats not to confuse the 140 with the 145. the exit rows are offset by 1.

If you can't get the exit row, the prioritized list of seats would be 1A, 4B, 4C, anything else...
