They don't care a jot about the intricacies of the matter, they just see BA as being unreliable for the foreseeable future. So they will not risk their holidays by booking BA this year.

Well in our case, we've booked for MCO in November just a couple of weeks ago, a trip that was going to be a BA CW trip but now isn't. Also booked at the same time is another TATL in J for Feb 2011, again now booked with another airline. So while you're certainly correct that most family summer trips are booked booked months in advance, others are done much closer to the date too & it's the booking of those ones, that will be viewed under the cloud of uncertainty. As will, I suspect, quite an amount of corporate / business trips

But hey hum, at the end of the day, I realise that we're only two out of many million BA PAX, but that said I somehow doubt though, that we are alone in our thinking.
